What are the Bay Area Remodeling Awards [BARA]?
The Bay Area Remodeling Awards [BARAs] is an award program open to members of SFBA NARI and NARI of Diablo Valley with entries representing excellence in remodeling in the Bay Area. Members can compete in 48 different categories (check out categories below) for this program's remodeling awards.

ENTRY FEES
EARLY BIRD FEES: $140 until AUGUST 22, 2026, $100 for each additional team member
REGULAR FEES: $155 per entry and if a team entry, $100 for each additional team member

*Please use your NARI National password to log into awards portal. If you cannot remember your password you can reset your member login here. If your email is not in National's database, email [email protected] or call them at 847-298-9200 to be added to the system.

Competition is open to active members with business or projects in counties of: Alameda, San Francisco, Contra Costa, Sonoma, Solano, Marin, Napa, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz.

Projects submitted for award consideration must have been completed between July 1, 2024 to September 1, 2026.
The final deadline for submission is by 11:59 PM Friday, September 18, 2026

New to the Bay Area Remodeling Awards (BARAs)? As you prepare your first entry(ies) or want to improve on your past entries, please refer to these winning submissions as a guide. These entries were able to clearly tell and show of the project transformation from the before and after. It's not just about the project photos, but the ability to answer the 5 questions the judges use for scoring entries (see the Program Rules & Information document). Use your own software to create unique entries that can be converted to a PDF format (up to 20 MB file size).
Awards are a good way to market your business success to current and potential clients and stand out in the crowd. Additionally, it brings NARI member-to-member teams together on projects and showcase your work at our annual awards ceremony!
