PART-TIME executive director
Your part-time Executive Director (ED) has a business contract with the chapter with the scope of work that is essentially running a small professional non-profit. Major responsibilities are divided into these categories:
- Governance: serves as a non-voting board member; informs, educates, advises, trains, and partners with the governing body.
- Administration: overseeing all daily business and financial administration of the organization.
- Events Co-Management: partnering with Programs, Education and Marketing committees with promotions, registration, logistics, event day and post event tasks.
- Committees Management or Co-Oversight with Board of Directors: can step into interim committee chair roles when vacancy or during transition of new board VP or committee chair.
- Volunteer Management
- National, Regional & Chapter Liaison
